In less than two weeks, over five hundred people (find out who’s coming?) will be gathering at Paññasastra University of Cambodia (PUC) to talk all things digital technology and communication.

The two-day summit, on the 3-4 October 2009, will be an open platform for Cambodia’s tech enthusiasts, along with technologists from East Asian countries, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, Malaysia and Singapore to exchange knowledge and skills in the area of digital technology and communication. Built upon the success of September last year, which attracted over three hundred attendees, early October this year is expected to be more exciting, unique and grand. At tough time in the climate of economic slowdown, very little that tech company are doing their utmost to turn thing upside down. But how this open technology conference is run gives a greater advantage to make it more sustainable, less shrugged. We have worked closely with our generous sponsors and supporters to position ourself well to get this event going on in its second year, consecutively.
Grand summit for great thinkers
As written in the previous post, this grand summit hope to welcome some of the most brilliant minds, great talents, skilled and experienced people in the field of technology to come together to: collaborate, network and learn. Both altruists and individualists are welcome.
It’s not free, but open!
It’s not fair at all to say BarCamp Phnom Penh a free conference for you’ll say there is no free lunch. Rather, we love to call it an open conference of all things technology, a gathering where everyone’s invited. Your contribution is your participation. That’s all.
