1) Event Details:
BarCamp, an innovative “impromptu” gathering that began in 2005 in Palo Alto, California, helps “open source” enthusiasts share information about technology in an informal setting. The idea quickly spread from California to the rest of the world, arriving in Bangkok in January 2008 and now in Phnom Penh. It’s an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants.

Morning session: 9:00am – 12:00pm: registration, introduction, presentation and demo, tea/coffeebreak, and tech talk.
Afternoon session: 1:45pm – 5:00pm: demo, T-shirts and gifts, tech gadgets show-off, tea/coffeebreak, and presentation. *subject to changes as this is an unconference.

5) BarCamp Phnom Penh hall, its facility, and materials available:
Floor Area: 432.00 ㎡
Capacity: (maximum) about 400 people
Facilities: 4 projectors and several screens (1 large-size screen), stage with lighting system, PA system (2 sets of sound system), air conditioner, stationary, 15 tables, and 200 chairs.
